SPR# JCIK6DLKEQ - Server archiving is now available in the Portal UI if "iNotes_WA_PortalOffline=1" is set. DWA supports two types of archiving, local- and server-based. If DWA is being used with its Portal UI, i.e. &ui=portal argument on the URL (such as when using DWA on a portal page), the Archive button was being hidden, regardless whether the user was using local-based archiving or server-based. We intentionally hide it in the portal ui because local-based archiving needs DOLS, which we didn't think administrators would want their portal users to have access to. So, the Archive button was only exposed through the notes.ini setting. However, here was the bug: the Archive button was hidden not only for local-based archiving, but also server-based, which isn't dependent on DOLS.The fix was this: if the user is using server-based archiving, the Archive button will be exposed in the portal ui without the need for the notes.ini setting.
